
The Lahore Arts Council has concluded its three-day theatrical production, Faiz Ka Faiz, a stage play celebrating the life and legacy of the renowned poet.
Presented in collaboration with Aks Theatre under the direction of Afzal Nabi, the play became a cultural highlight at Alhamra Hall, drawing large and appreciative audiences.
The play portrayed the emotional, political and poetic dimensions of Faiz Ahmed Faiz's life. The cast featured Syed Zeeshan Haider, Erum Naveed, Zoya Qazi, Zaheer Taj, Aman Iqbal, Jahanzeb Mustafa, Mazhar Khalid, Tanveer Khalid, Sundus Mehmood, Umar Khalid, Muneeb Mani, Ali Raza, Jamshed Anjum, Usama Ameer, Yaseen Mehmood and Zain Ali.
Alhamra Arts Council Chairman Razi Ahmed, stated, "This production aimed to provide theatre lovers a meaningful, high-quality play rooted in literary depth and cultural consciousness." Executive Director Touqeer Haider Kazmi said the council is reviving the essence of drama.
