Govt approves funds for workers' welfare

Labour Secretary and Punjab Workers Welfare Fund Chairman Muhammad Naeem Ghaus on Friday approved the allocation of funds for Maryam Nawaz Ration Card for workers across Punjab.

The approval for Ration Card funds was granted during the 19th meeting of governing body of Punjab Workers Welfare Fund.

Labour Secretary Muhammad Naeem Ghaus also approved the allocation of funds for ongoing and new initiatives under the Punjab Workers Welfare Fund. He further said that efforts are being made to provide maximum facilities to registered employees through the Workers Welfare programme, and this year's budget includes improved measures aimed at securing a better future for workers and their families.
