
A burger shop owner and another man were injured in the Mozang area when an employee opened fire on them over a dispute over punctuality. The incident occurred on Temple Road, where an argument erupted between shop owner Abid and his employee Ehsan over the latter's late arrival for work.
According to a police spokesperson, Ehsan, in a fit of rage, opened fire on his employer. The shooting left injured Abid and another man, Hussein.
Mozang police arrested the suspect along with the weapon used in the crime. The injured victims were shifted to a hospital.
The police registered a case against the suspect on the charge of attempted murder and said the investigation into the incident was ongoing.
Meanwhile, Manga Mandi police arrested a suspect accused of opening fire during an altercation with a man and his son outside their home in Ahmadabad.
The suspect, identified as Malik Iqbal, got involved in an altercation outside the victims' residence, during which he opened fire, injuring Parvez Masih and his son Shamoon. Both victims were shifted to a hospital.
