
A school shooting in the southern Austrian city of Graz has left at least ten people dead, including the suspect, according to the Austrian news agency APA.
The shooting occurred on Tuesday, with Graz Mayor Elke Kahr describing the incident as a "tragedy." Initial reports indicated at least ten fatalities, with numerous others injured. The injured were swiftly transported to nearby hospitals.
Eyewitnesses said they heard between 30 and 40 shots.

Earlier, Kronen Zeitung newspaper reported that at least eight people were confirmed dead, with ten others in critical condition.
Although police did not immediately release an official toll, they confirmed that several people had died in the attack.
The victims' identities and the number of pupils among the deceased have not been confirmed.
Emergency services responded quickly, and ambulances were seen outside the school building.
The motive for the shooting remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
