
At least one man was killed and five others injured in a shooting near Yorkdale Mall in Toronto on Tuesday evening, local police confirmed.
The incident occurred around 8:30 pm (0030 GMT Wednesday) near Flemington and Zachary Roads, close to Ranee Avenue and Allen Road.

Authorities reported that one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while five others were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds. The severity of their injuries was reported as non-life threatening.
Police have not provided details about any suspects involved in the shooting.
Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow expressed concern on social media, stating her office is in contact with law enforcement.
