The parasailing company, Budva MK, stated that Radonjic appeared cheerful and calm before the activity began. “She was in a good mood, waved to her friends on the beach, and showed no fear of flying,” the company’s representative explained.
Despite speculation, authorities have not officially confirmed whether the fall was accidental or intentional. Loved ones have rejected any suggestion of suicide, citing Radonjic’s upbeat demeanor and recent joyful social media posts from her vacation.
Emergency responders recovered her body from the water shortly after the fall and transported it to the local marina. The ongoing police investigation aims to determine if equipment malfunction, human error, or mental distress contributed to the tragedy.
Radonjic, a student from Novi Sad, Serbia, was widely known among her peers and followers for her positive spirit. Friends have since paid tribute to her online, describing her as “full of life” and “always smiling.”
The heartbreaking incident has raised questions about parasailing safety protocols and mental health preparedness during high-adrenaline tourist activities.
