
The federal government on Friday announced four-day public holidays from Friday June 6 until Monday, June 9, on the occasion of Eidul Azha.
According to Express News, the announcement was made after the approval of the prime minister.
During the holidays, all government and private offices, educational institutions, and banks across the country will remain closed.
The announcement was preceded by sighting of moon on May 27 by Ruet-e-Hilal Committee. Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad said that the first day of Eidul Azha will be celebrated across Pakistan on June 7. .
