UNSC, China condemn Khuzdar attack

The UN Security Council and China have condemned the "heinous and cowardly" terrorist attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, and called for bringing the culprits to justice.

"The UNSC members expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government and the people of Pakistan."

Separately, China firmly condemned the school bus attack and strongly opposes terrorism in all forms, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said in Beijing.

"We deeply mourn for the lives lost, and extend sincere sympathies to the bereaved families and the injured."
