R&B artist Al B. Sure! has revealed he was subpoenaed to testify in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ upcoming federal trial, scheduled to begin on May 12, 2025.

In a recent interview with Fox 5 New York, the singer confirmed he is prepared to take the stand, stating, “Oh, absolutely. Absolutely I am.”

Diddy, 55, is currently facing serious federal charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody following his September 2023 arrest. Prosecutors claim Combs ran a criminal enterprise known as the “Combs Enterprise,” which allegedly engaged in a range of illegal activities from prostitution to drug distribution and extortion.

Although Al B. Sure! is not listed as a victim in the indictment, he suggested in the interview that he may have been targeted in the past. In 2022, the singer was hospitalized with multiple organ failure and placed in a medically induced coma. When asked if he suspected Combs or someone connected to him was involved, Al B. Sure! said, “I believe this to be the case. Yes. Absolutely.”

He also alluded to the 2018 death of Kim Porter, the mother of his son Quincy Brown, suggesting she too may have been a target. Porter’s family has since publicly denied those claims, stating her death was due to lobar pneumonia and not foul play.

The trial is expected to bring further revelations as Al B. Sure! and others take the stand in one of the most high-profile cases in recent music history.
