
A 5.3-magnitude earthquake shook several cities across Khyber- Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, as confirmed by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).
According to the PMD, the earthquake originated in the Hindukush region and occurred at a depth of 230 kilometers. It was further reported that no casualties or damage had occurred.
Tremors were felt in various parts of K-P, including Mardan, Swat, Swabi, Abbottabad and nearby areas. Last month, a 4.4-magnitude quake was recorded in Swat and surrounding regions, with a depth of 185 kilometers and the epicentre located in the Hindukush.
