Lar Park Lincoln, Friday the 13th star and acting coach, dies at 63

Lar Park Lincoln, best known for her iconic role as Tina Shepard in Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, has passed away at the age of 63.
The news was confirmed by Actors Audition Studios, the acting school she founded, in a heartfelt Facebook post announcing her death on April 22, 2025.
The cause of death has not been publicly disclosed, and her family has requested privacy during this time. Fans are encouraged to honor her memory by donating to The SAG-AFTRA Foundation or The Entertainment Community Fund.
With a career spanning over four decades, Lincoln left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. She was beloved in the horror community for her portrayal of Tina, a telekinetic “final girl” who goes head-to-head with Jason Voorhees in The New Blood. The character remains a fan favorite, and Lincoln frequently appeared at horror conventions and retrospectives, including the 2021 fan film Rose Blood and the documentary His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th.
Lincoln also starred in Knots Landing, where she played dual roles over five seasons, and appeared in films such as House II: The Second Story, Children of the Night, and Fatal Charm. Her television credits include Freddy’s Nightmares, Murder, She Wrote, and Highway to Heaven.
Beyond acting, she was a mentor to aspiring performers through her Dallas-based studio and author of the book Get Started, Not Scammed. She is survived by her two children, four grandchildren, siblings, and a devoted fanbase who continue to celebrate her legacy.
