Kelly Clarkson has sparked fresh concern among fans after missing yet another episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show on April 21.
With Andy Cohen stepping in as guest host, viewers are once again speculating about the beloved singer's frequent absences, which began back in March 2025.
While Clarkson has remained quiet about the reason for her time off, she recently teased a new single on Instagram titled “Where Have You Been,” leading fans to believe it might hint at her recent disappearances. The post, shared on April 18, simply featured the single’s artwork and the caption “Soon...,” which many interpreted as a subtle nod to the ongoing mystery.
Adding fuel to the fire, an unconfirmed report from NewsNation (via Taste of Country) suggested her absence may be related to ex-husband Brandon Blackstock’s reported illness, saying Clarkson took their children to visit him. However, no official statement has been made.
Some sources also point to behind-the-scenes tension and the demanding nature of producing the Emmy-winning daytime show, suggesting Clarkson may walk away after her contract ends next year.
Meanwhile, she’s set to perform in Atlantic City in May and will headline her Studio Sessions: The Las Vegas Residency at Caesars Palace beginning July 4, continuing into August and again in November.
Between her new music, on-stage commitments, and quiet exits from her show, fans continue to voice their worries online—wondering what's really going on with the pop icon they’ve long admired
