FAISALABAD:
Teachers and students of Government Municipal Degree College staged an awareness walk regarding the dengue virus on Wednesday.
The walk, led by college principal Prof Riaz Hussain Shah, started from the college premises and ended at Susan Chowk.
College teachers including Prof Rao Mukhtar, Khalid Hussain, Tahir Ashraf and a large number of students participated in the event and were seen carrying banners and placards inscribed with precautionary tips regarding the virus. Later, the students also distributed pamphlets listing information about preventative measures to guard against the epidemic. The walk aims to highlight basic precautionary measures that people can take to guard against the disease.
