Candidates must have secured at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 2.5 out of 4.0. The maximum age limit is 30 years. Students and graduates from remote or underrepresented areas, including Balochistan, Southern Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, are especially encouraged to apply.

What to Expect

Selected interns will work full-time for six weeks, five days a week, for a minimum of eight hours per day. They will undergo a 3–5 day orientation at the Pakistan Institute for Parliamentary Services (PIPS) in Islamabad and then be assigned to various departments of the National Assembly.

Participants will gain insight into legislative research, public policy, and parliamentary procedures. Interns are expected to maintain at least 85% attendance, observe a formal dress code, and remain non-partisan during the programme. A certificate of completion will be awarded upon successful participation.

How to Apply

Interested candidates must apply online only. No applications will be accepted via email, post, or in person. Incomplete forms or missing documents will lead to disqualification.

Required documents include:

  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  • Attested CNIC/NICOP copy

  • Attested academic transcript or degree

  • Photograph

  • Internship letter from university

Incomplete applications or missing documents will result in disqualification. The application deadline is 30 April 2025. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further steps.

For assistance, candidates may contact the Project Management Unit at 051-9103177 or email internship@na.gov.pk.

The internship does not offer any salary or stipend, and participation does not guarantee employment at the National Assembly. Attempts to influence the selection process will result in disqualification.
