Blake Lively is bringing her voice and charm to National Geographic’s new wildlife docuseries Secrets of the Penguins, premiering Sunday, April 20 at 8 p.m. ET.
The three-part series explores fascinating penguin behaviors around the world, with Lively lending heartfelt narration to some of the most adorable moments caught on camera.
Produced by James Cameron and featuring cinematography from Bertie Gregory, the docuseries blends emotional storytelling and stunning visuals. Lively, a mom of four with husband Ryan Reynolds, shared her excitement on Instagram, calling the narration “a dream and honor.”
Secrets of the Penguins will also be available to stream April 21 on Disney+ and Hulu. Disney Channel will air the premiere episode on Earth Day, April 22.
This project is Lively’s latest ahead of her Prime Video film Another Simple Favor, releasing May 1, and comes amid ongoing legal issues involving It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni. Despite the drama, Lively’s tender narration has fans excited for this heartwarming Earth Month celebration.
