The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has announced revised prices for re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) that will be applicable in the current month, effective from April 1, 2025.
According to a notification issued by Ogra, the RLNG prices for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) have undergone changes in both transmission and distribution segments.
For SNGPL, the new transmission price has been set at $12.5895 per million British thermal units (mmBtu), up from $12.0022, reflecting an increase of $0.5873, or 4.89%. The distribution price has been revised to $13.4789 per mmBtu from $12.9499, marking an increase of $0.5290, or 4.08%.
Similarly, the SSGC's transmission price has been increased from $10.6906 per mmBtu in March to $11.2718 in April, a rise of 5.44%. However, the distribution price has slightly gone down from $12.7255 per mmBtu to $12.5910, a reduction of $0.1345, or 1.06%.
Ogra elaborated that the upward revision in RLNG prices was mainly due to an increase in the delivered ex-ship (DES) price in the international market.
