Security heightened at mazars

ISLAMABAD: Security has been increased at all mazars in the country  after the suicide bomb blasts at Data Darbar on Thursday. According to a TV channel, the security on three main mazars in the capital, Bari Imam Darbar, Sakhi Mehmood Darbar and Golra Sharif has been increased.

Chief Commissioner Islam-abad, Tariq Mehmood visited Bari Imam and directed the purchase of four walk through gates at the Darbar.

Shops and road encroachment near the entrances of these Darbars have been removed while Langar Khanas have been shifted outside of the mazars.

Security has also been enhanced at mazars in Multan including Bahaddin Zakria Mazar, Shah Shams Mazar and others. High police officials visited the mazars and reviewed the security measures.
