Seven family members killed in Naseerabad house fire attack

The victims were farmers who worked on land belonging to a local landlord.

Seven people were killed in an attack on a house in a village in Sohbat Pur district, where unknown assailants opened fire and then set the house ablaze.

The attack, which occurred within the jurisdiction of RD 238 police station, resulted in the deaths of a family head, his wife, four sons, and one daughter. The children’s ages ranged from one to 15 years.

The perpetrators, after carrying out the shooting, set the family’s makeshift home on fire before fleeing the scene.

Authorities are investigating the matter, and police have vowed to apprehend those responsible for the attack.

Earlier, at least six passengers were killed in a brutal attack on a Karachi-bound bus in Gwadar's Kalmat area on Wednesday night.

The incident occurred in the Kalmat area, where five people died instantly, and one succumbed to injuries later while receiving treatment at the hospital.

Authorities confirmed that the victims, all travelling to Karachi, included a man from Multan.
