Selena Gomez’s latest album, I Said I Love You First, is making waves, with fans speculating that multiple tracks reference her past relationship with Justin Bieber.

One song, “How Does It Feel to Be Forgotten,” includes lyrics such as, “You’re so embarrassing / Go cry when no one’s watchin’ / I can’t imagine it / How does it feel to be forgotten?” Fans believe these lines may allude to Bieber, 31, who has had emotional moments shared publicly on social media.

Another track, “Don’t Wanna Cry,” hints at betrayal, with Gomez singing, “Then you kiss her right in front of me like I’m not even there / I should cause a scene for s–t you’ve done to me.” Many interpret this as a reference to Bieber’s quick marriage to Hailey Bieber in 2018 after ending things with Gomez.

Additionally, “Younger and Hotter Than Me” appears to touch on a love triangle, with Gomez recalling a time when she was “begging for more” and referencing an underage club stamp, a possible nod to dating Bieber when she was 18 and he was 16.

Despite speculation, Gomez, 32, has not confirmed the songs are about Bieber. In a recent interview, she clarified, “The whole album isn’t just about my life.”
