An anti-terrorism court (ATC) acquitted two Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) operatives by giving benefit of doubt on Friday.

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), while sending the case challan to the Anti-Terrorism Court, stated that the accused Amirullah and Muhammad Umar were arrested on June 18, 2024 when they were distributing pamphlets of a banned outfit in 76 GB area.

Anti-Terrorism Court Special Judge Javed Iqbal Sheikh of the Anti-Terrorism Court acquitted both the accused as the prosecution did not present concrete evidence during the hearing of the case.
