PESHAWAR:

Advisor to the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations, Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, has dismissed Khawaja Asif's claim about settling terrorists in K-P as misleading and baseless.

He stated that such allegations are merely an attempt to cover up the federal government's failure in combating terrorism.

Saif challenged Khawaja Asif to provide evidence of even a single terrorist being resettled in K-P. He questioned why, if the Defense Minister truly has knowledge of such resettlements, he has not taken action against them instead of making accusations.

He reminded Khawaja Asif that, as Defense Minister, his responsibility extends beyond just the borders of Islamabad to the entire country.

Saif criticized Asif for engaging in political rhetoric on a sensitive issue like terrorism, despite holding such a critical position. He stressed that combating terrorism requires practical measures, not just statements.
