Donald Trump was caught reading a bizarre note during his ‘Tesla sales pitch’ in front of the White House, revealing a humiliating script.

The note, captured by a photographer, detailed Tesla model prices, colours, and features. It even included odd lines like, “Teslas can be purchased as low as $299/month or $35K.”

Another said, "All cars have self driving, just needs to be turned on (fee)."

The awkward moment occurred as Trump touted his purchase of a new Tesla to show “confidence and support for Elon Musk.” Despite his public excitement, Trump was forced to admit that he’s not allowed to drive, making the whole scenario even more embarrassing. He mentioned the Tesla would be left at the White House for staff to use.

Trump's showcase was aimed at boosting Tesla, which has been struggling with declining sales. His announcement came just days after he made a statement on Truth Social, praising Musk as a “great American” and criticising those who boycotted Tesla.

Musk, sitting in the passenger seat of the Tesla, joked about giving the Secret Service a “heart attack” while the two men discussed the car’s speed and features.
