Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal was recently seen attending the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai alongside social media influencer and former radio jockey RJ Mahvash.
The public appearance has ignited fresh speculation about Chahal's personal life, which has been under the spotlight due to ongoing divorce proceedings with his wife, choreographer Dhanashree Verma.
Despite not being part of India’s squad for the final, Chahal was seen in the stands cheering for the team during their match against New Zealand. In several images, Chahal and Mahvash were seen conversing, with the cricketer leaning in to speak to her at one point.
The two were previously linked in December 2024 when Mahvash posted a picture with Chahal, leading to rumours about a potential relationship.
RJ Mahvash is a well-known social media influencer and YouTuber, originally from Aligarh. She gained popularity through her prank videos and online content.
She also worked with Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM before moving on to digital content creation, acting, and film production.
Reports suggest Mahvash declined offers from reality TV shows and Bollywood projects to focus on her digital career.
Following the December photo, Mahvash addressed the rumours, calling them "baseless" and asking fans to respect her privacy.
Chahal also publicly requested that people refrain from spreading false rumours, as it was affecting his family. However, their recent public outing together has reignited discussions about their relationship.
Chahal’s personal life has been the subject of much attention recently, especially after he and his wife Dhanashree Verma unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking divorce rumours.
Last month, Chahal's lawyer confirmed that the couple had filed for divorce by mutual consent, and the matter is currently in court.
