A woman identified as, Houria, has alleged in her audio message posted on the social media that police harassed her in the jurisdiction of the Darakhshan police station.
Police however insist that they had stopped her car to remove the illegal black tinted sheets.
Houria said that she was going home in her car around 10pm on Sunday night when, "some policemen stopped my car near Cafe Clifton and a man in civvies tried to enter my car and started abusing me verbally."
She claimed that the man used highly derogatory profanities and when she made noise for help and tried to make a video, the person snatched her cell phone. Houria states that the man warned her of calling policewomen and getting her arrested. Regarding the black tinted glasses, Houria told the cops that they have no authority to remove it.
Meanwhile, Darakshan police station SHO said that the woman was stopped because of the tinted glasses. Policewomen removed the black sticker sheets, Taj said adding, "I was not present at the time when this matter took place." SHO Taj claimed that the woman misbehaved with the personnel and left.
