Charles Dion McDowell, famously known as "Wide Neck" after his 2018 viral mugshot, has been arrested in Georgia on multiple felony charges, including allegedly sending explicit content to minors.

According to TMZ, the 37-year-old was taken into custody on February 19 by the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office. McDowell faces felony charges of sending nude videos or photos without consent, electronic distribution of explicit material to minors, and harassing phone calls.

Authorities claim that he sent sexually explicit videos of a woman—without her consent—to her 13-year-old son, 16-year-old daughter, mother, and another individual multiple times via cell phone and laptop. He is currently being held without bond.

McDowell first gained internet fame in 2018 when his mugshot, featuring an unusually large neck, went viral. Embracing the attention, he capitalized on his notoriety by launching a rap career under the names 'DBD Wayne' and 'Wide Neck'. He even collaborated on the viral song Neckst Up alongside fellow internet personality Daddy Long Neck.

Despite his online fame, McDowell has had multiple legal issues over the years. His prior arrests include charges for stalking, failure to pay child support, driving with an invalid license, and drug possession. While he has previously denied having a medical condition related to his neck size, some speculate he may suffer from pterygium colli, a congenital condition that causes a webbed neck.

McDowell was also part of the Shrimp Gang, a group of internet personalities who built an audience through comedy sketches and viral music videos. However, his online success has now been overshadowed by serious legal troubles, leaving his future uncertain as the case unfolds.
