KARACHI:

The Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has demanded immediate action from the law enforcement agencies against the trailer driver who killed the industrialist Muhammad Ashraf Admani and his son Naveed Admani, while his other son Usman Admani was critically injured.

The errant driver rammed his mammoth vehicle in the rear of Ashraf's SUV on the Native Jetty Bridge sending it flyibg many feet below. Ashraf, along with his sons, was going to his factory, Ashraf Enterprises in the SITE area, when the fateful accident occurred. As usual, the truck driver escaped from the scene and was most likely to be back on the wheel to kill someone else after some time.

KCCI President Muhammad Javed Bilwani expressed profound grief over the death of renowned industrialist Ashraf Admani and his son Naveed Admani in the accident. He said that reckless driving by heavy transport drivers in Karachi has become a threat to lives. He said that issuing vehicle fitness certificates by taking bribes is the main reason for the increasing accidents in the city.
