CHAK JHUMRA:

Jhumra police recovered a stolen container of cloth worth Rs2.5 million, arrested an accused and started the interrogation process.

A container filled with cloth worth Rs2.5 million was stolen from the Bhaiwala Dry Port area of Chak Jumra police station.

After registering a case, City Police Officer Sahibzada Bilal Umar formed teams under the leadership of SP Medina Town Saad Arshad, DSP Nishatabad Ghazi Rana Umar Daraz and SHO Chak Jumra Inspector Mansoor Sadiq, who raided various places, recovered the container along with the cloth and arrested an accused Ansar.

The police took the arrested accused into custody and started the interrogation process.

Meanwhile, fraudsters deprived eight people, including two women, of cash and mobile phones. Police registered cases and launched a search operation for the suspects arrest.

In the Mohalla Ghariabad area of the Factory Area police station, three fraudsters engaged Zeeshan Maqsood in conversation and deprived him of cash and a mobile phone.
