Jenny Slate has reportedly filed a complaint against producer Jamey Heath during the filming of It Ends With Us, adding another layer to the ongoing legal battle involving Blake Lively.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Slate’s complaint was separate from Lively’s accusations against director Justin Baldoni but may support Lively’s case.

The report states that Slate had issues regarding her housing situation while filming in New York. She was renting an apartment that was unsuitable for her and her toddler but was stuck due to a hefty $15,000 security deposit. Heath allegedly offered to have Wayfarer Studios, the production company he co-founded with Baldoni, reimburse the deposit. However, the way he framed the offer reportedly made Slate feel uncomfortable, prompting her to file a complaint with Sony.

Blake Lively’s recent amended complaint mentions two unnamed actresses willing to testify against Baldoni. Given the new information, Slate is suspected to be one of them. The It Ends With Us legal battle has been making waves in Hollywood, with allegations of misconduct and inappropriate behavior surfacing against key figures in the production.

Meanwhile, industry insiders suggest that Baldoni’s Bahá'í faith may have contributed to misunderstandings on set. As the lawsuit moves forward, more details are expected to emerge, potentially reshaping public perception of the film’s production and its key players.
