Blake Lively has alleged in a newly amended complaint, filed on Tuesday, that she confided in a mutual friend about *It Ends With Us* director Justin Baldoni’s inappropriate behavior. According to her, he was acting like a "creep" toward her.
Her legal team claims that on May 24, 2023, Lively messaged an unnamed friend, saying, “I was gonna invite you to set tomorrow. These people. Whoa . . . It’s like HR nuts today. The both of them,” referring to both Baldoni and Wayfarer co-producer Jamey Heath.
The *Gossip Girl* alum, 37, allegedly informed the friend that she left work in tears, stating that she "cried" after the day’s events.
According to the complaint, she referred to Baldoni, 41, and Heath as "creeps" and added, “Like keep your hormones to yourselves. This is not mine. I don’t want it.”
Lively also shared her frustration by saying, “I don’t want you [sic] gaze or words or tongue or videos of your naked wife.” She was referring to a moment when Heath allegedly showed a video of his wife giving birth naked, which Lively initially mistook for pornography.
She concluded the conversation with her friend by writing, “It’s shocking. Clowns.” The complaint states that her concerns about "inappropriate behavior" were reported to Baldoni, Heath, and Sony executive Ange Gianetti on May 26, 2023.
However, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, dismissed these claims, telling reporters on Wednesday that, “Our clients have been transparent in providing receipts, real time documents and video showing a completely different story than what has been manipulated and cherry picked to the media.”
He further stated, “Our clients have taken this matter and these issues very seriously notwithstanding the jokes made publicly by the plaintiff and her husband. Her underwhelming amended complaint is filled with unsubstantial hearsay of unnamed persons who are clearly no longer willing to come forward or publicly support her claims.”
Freedman concluded by saying, “Since documents do not lie and people do, the upcoming depositions of those who initially supported Ms. Lively’s false claims and those who are witnesses to her own behavior will be enlightening. What is truly uncomfortable here is Ms. Lively’s lack of actual evidence.”
Lively originally went public with her allegations against Baldoni in December through a California Civil Rights Department complaint, where she accused him of sexual harassment and trying to damage her reputation.
She later restated her accusations in a lawsuit and the newly amended complaint, which included the claim that Baldoni once asked her an intrusive question about her intimate life with her husband, Ryan Reynolds. While discussing a possible sex scene for *It Ends With Us*, he allegedly inquired whether they “climax simultaneously.”
The complaint asserts that “Ms. Lively found invasive and refused to discuss.”
