Justin Baldoni has been unfairly targeted by "obvious lies" spread by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, according to a source from the set of It Ends With Us who spoke exclusively to MailOnline.
The Hollywood insider, who worked closely on the $350 million film, claims to have text messages proving that Baldoni was nothing but "caring," "sensitive," and "thoughtful" towards Lively, particularly during romantic scenes. This contradicts the allegations made against the director and actor.
The source decided to come forward after Lively’s claims that she suffered from "grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety" due to Baldoni’s behavior on set. The insider, who directly witnessed interactions between the two actors, insists that Lively’s accusations do not reflect what actually happened during filming.
"I got so angry hearing those obvious lies that I felt compelled to speak my truth," the insider said.
According to the source, Baldoni approached every scene with professionalism and respect. They emphasized that he was highly considerate of his co-star’s comfort, particularly in intimate scenes, and that his behavior was never inappropriate.
In her lawsuit, Lively accused Baldoni of "improvised physical intimacy" during a sex scene without prior discussion or choreography. She also alleged that he "discreetly [bit] and [sucked] on Ms. Lively's lower lip."
Additionally, Lively claimed that Baldoni had shown her explicit videos and photos of other women, openly discussed his struggles with pornography, and made inappropriate remarks about her, including comments about her weight.
However, the set insider completely refuted these allegations, stating that Baldoni was always respectful and professional. They also believe that Baldoni’s dedication to the project is being unfairly used against him.
"He cared so deeply about that movie. It's absolutely ludicrous that anyone could ever say he was anything other than polite, respectful, caring, and professional during the process. I have text messages that show just how sensitive and thoughtful he was about it," they said.
The insider also claimed that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are leveraging their wealth to prolong the legal battle, making it as "brutal" and expensive as possible for Baldoni.
"His friends, family, and co-workers know the truth, and at the end, the rest of the public will too," they added.
