Tom Holland’s trip to Target for his non-alcoholic beer, Bero, turned into an unexpected challenge. The 28-year-old actor shared his journey on Instagram Stories on February 18, documenting his struggle to find the product in stock and the surprising moment he was unable to buy it himself.
After visiting two Target locations without luck, Holland finally found Bero at a third store. However, when he reached the checkout, his English ID wasn’t accepted, preventing him from purchasing his own product.
“They wouldn’t accept my ID because it’s English and I couldn’t prove my age,” Holland explained in a video. “So a really lovely employee, I guess, scanned their ID.”
Laughing at the situation, he added, “Kind of ironic that I wasn’t allowed to buy my own product.”
Bero, which Holland developed to fill a gap in the premium non-alcoholic beverage market, is now available nationwide at Target.
Speaking about the brand, he previously said, “I ultimately created Bero for myself because I was craving a product that helped me feel included.”
Despite the ID mishap, Holland successfully purchased his Bero and continued celebrating the brand’s expansion.
