Pak vs NZ: Entry guidelines for CT opening match in Karachi

To gain entry to stadium, spectators must present both valid original CNIC and hard copy of their match ticket.

Cricket fans attending the opening match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 between Pakistan and New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi are reminded of important entry requirements and restrictions.

To gain entry to the stadium, spectators must present both a valid original national identity card and a hard copy of their match ticket. Online tickets will not be accepted, so attendees should ensure they have the physical ticket with them.

For those who booked tickets online, physical tickets can be collected from designated TCS centres before the match.

Fans are advised that the following items are prohibited inside the stadium:

  • Power banks
  • AirPods
  • Betel nuts
  • Food and drinks

The stadium gates will open three hours before the match. spectators are encouraged to arrive early as security checks will be conducted at all entrance points.

Due to anticipated congestion, particularly on Sir Shah Suleman Road, spectators are advised to use alternative routes. VIPs and vehicles with special passes or stickers will be allowed entry through Gate No 8, while general spectators should use the main gate or gates 04, 05, 06, 12, 13, or 14.

Parking has been designated at the National Coaching Centre and China Ground for fans arriving from the Karsaz Road bridge. Similarly, spectators coming from Millennium and New Town can use the same parking areas.

VIPs and those with special passes will have reserved parking inside the stadium.

All roads surrounding the stadium will remain open for regular traffic, but there will be a strict ban on drone cameras in and around the stadium during the event.

Spectators are advised to follow these guidelines carefully to ensure smooth access and an enjoyable experience at the much-anticipated opening match.
