Sarah Hyland is facing allegations of diva behavior from comedian and actor Jeff Dye, who claims she was "rude to everyone" while working together on the 2019 film The Wedding Year.

In a recent appearance on The George Janko Show, Dye described the Modern Family alum as a "pretty woman who chain-smokes and is terrible," accusing her of mistreating cast and crew.

Dye, who only had a brief role in the rom-com, alleged that Hyland took issue with background actors eating from the craft services table, saying she treated the snacks as if "it was in her kitchen or something." He also recalled an incident where she was allegedly moved to tears while showing the cast a trailer for Dumbo (2019), which he admits he mocked in an attempt to "ruin the moment."

The comedian further claimed Hyland "hated" him, speculating that she disliked his "masculine energy." He also alleged that crew members bonded over their shared frustration with her, adding, "People found camaraderie in hating her."

Dye, however, praised director Robert Luketic and co-star Anna Camp, with whom he said he became "good buddies."

This isn’t Dye’s first public feud. He previously took issue with his ex, Kristin Cavallari, after she shared details of his 2023 DUI arrest on her podcast.

Hyland, who has not responded to Dye’s claims, remains a beloved figure in Hollywood, with many of her co-stars speaking highly of her professionalism.
