A former Yeezy employee has sued Kanye West over the rapper's alleged antisemitic conduct in the workplace. As per People, the complainant - identified as Jane Doe - claims that West compared himself to Adolf Hitler and threatened her over being Jewish.

However, when Doe consulted her supervisor, West allegedly fired her the next day. The complaint was filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County on Tuesday.

Doe was hired as a marketing specialist in the company in late 2023, which was around the same time as when West was embroiled in yet another controversy concerning antisemitism. Taking to Instagram in December, he apologised in Hebrew. "I sincerely apologise to the Jewish community for my unplanned outbursts caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused," read the translation.

Doe's lawsuit, which references the "short-lived" apology, states that the rapper "carried out a calculated campaign to threaten and psychologically torment Jewish people around him, especially the Plaintiff". The documents also allege that West called himself a "Nazi" and insulted Doe on other occasions, spewing "hate speech against" her religion and calling her "ugly" and a "b****".

The complaint adds that West shared a photo of a nude woman in a group chat, which Doe was a part of. "The unwelcome exposure to such nudity made Plaintiff feel uncomfortable and deeply unsettled," the lawsuit adds. "However, Plaintiff did her best to ignore it and persevered through Ye's constant degradation of women."

Among other complaints, Doe is suing West over claims of a hostile work environment, wrongful termination, and discrimination for an amount higher than $35,000. Earlier, West was dropped by his management team after he posted a slur-filled rant on X. The Yeezy website also shut down on Tuesday for selling swastika T-shirts promoted during the Super Bowl.
