Kanye West returns to X after Antisemitic rant, fans say 'the black vans paid a visit'

Kanye West has made his return to X (formerly Twitter) after his recent spree of hateful and antisemitic posts led to his suspension. The controversial rapper, 47, deleted most of his inflammatory tweets before his account was reinstated on Thursday, but his profile now carries a stark warning: “Caution: This profile may include potentially sensitive content.”

West’s return follows his recent Grammys controversy, where his wife, Bianca Censori, appeared nearly nude on the red carpet, sparking backlash. However, the uproar only intensified when the rapper launched into a tirade on X, endorsing Adolf Hitler and selling a swastika-themed $20 T-shirt on his Yeezy website.

His antisemitic remarks led to widespread condemnation, with major celebrities, including David Schwimmer and Lyor Cohen, speaking out against him.

X owner Elon Musk, previously seen as an ally to West, unfollowed him amid the controversy, prompting the rapper to acknowledge the snub, writing: “Elon unfollowed me so I'm not sure how much longer I'll be on Twitter/X.” Musk later commented on West’s posts, stating, “Given what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW. The backlash against West has been swift. On Monday, his Los Angeles-based talent agency, 33 & West, severed ties with him. Agent Daniel McCartney released a statement, saying, “Effective immediately, I am no longer representing YE (F/K/A Kanye West) due to his recent harmful and hateful remarks that myself nor 33 & West can stand for.”

Additionally, West is facing legal trouble after a Jewish former employee at Yeezy filed a lawsuit accusing him of religious discrimination and wrongful termination. The lawsuit alleges that West referred to himself as a “Nazi,” sent messages like “Welcome to the first day of working for Hitler,” and ultimately fired the employee after she reported his behavior.
