Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has said instead of fulfilling its promise of providing employment to the jobless in the province, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is set to deprive 20,000 people of their jobs at the first opportunity.
Talking to reporters in Peshawar, Kundi said that he received a bill from the K-P Assembly in this regard but he objected to it on the ground that those who had recruited these employees should also be fired.
He said that Maulana Fazl is saying that his mandate has been stolen and now he is on the path of revenge.
He added that 'Mir Sadiq' and 'Mir Jafar' are present within the ranks of PTI and the days of the chief minister are also numbered.
"I stand by the K-P government employees and they will never be removed from service," he said, adding that agriculture tax has been imposed on farmers. He announced that soon a farmers' convention will be held at the Governor House and a seminar will also be organized concerning issues faced by the local governments.
Kundi maintained that education is the only path to progress, prosperity, peace and towards building a civilized nation.
