As a result, three young men lost their lives, Express News reported.
The deceased were transported to Jinnah Hospital while the driver of the dumper managed to flee the scene.
Following the accident, enraged citizens set the dumper on fire.

In Karachi, dumper drivers have been defying government regulations and claims, as heavy vehicles continue to operate recklessly on city streets during the day, despite official orders.
On the other hand, Police have arrested the dumper driver responsible for a fatal accident in Karachi's Gulistan-e-Johar area earlier this week.
The deadly mishap, which occurred on February 5th, involved a high-speed dumper that collided with three motorcycles and two cars near the Gulistan-e-Johar turn, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including a woman, according to Express News.
Following the crash, the dumper driver fled the scene, but police swiftly launched an investigation and arrested the accused.
According to the police, three individuals died at the scene of the accident. The driver, identified as Mawaz Khan, fled after the incident.
However, the Shahrah-e-Faisal police, utilizing modern technology, traced the driver and arrested him. A case has been registered at the Shahrah-e-Faisal police station, and further investigations are underway.
The police have stated that accidents due to reckless driving by heavy vehicles are on the rise in Karachi, and strict measures are being taken to control such incidents
