Nickelodeon is developing Hollywood Arts, a Victorious spinoff focused on Trina Vega, played by Daniella Monet.

The new comedy series will follow Trina as she returns to Hollywood Arts High School, the fictional performing arts academy from the original show, this time as a teacher.

Monet, who portrayed Trina in Victorious from 2010 to 2013, is set to reprise her role and serve as an executive producer. Writers Samantha Martin and Jake Farrow, who previously worked on Victorious and its first spinoff Sam & Cat, are also attached to the project.

The announcement has already garnered excitement from former cast members. Avan Jogia, who played Beck Oliver, expressed his support on Instagram, writing that he “could not be happier” for Monet, to which she responded, “Love you.”

Victorious, created by Dan Schneider, ran for four seasons and starred Victoria Justice, Monet, Jogia, Liz Gillies, Matt Bennett, Leon Thomas III, and Ariana Grande. While Schneider is not involved in Hollywood Arts, the new series will continue the Victorious legacy under a fresh creative team.

Although additional cast details remain unconfirmed, potential cameos from original stars like Justice and Jogia remain a possibility. Fans will have to wait for further updates on Nickelodeon’s next step for Hollywood Arts.
