The General Authority for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has introduced an online portal for individuals and organizations wishing to provide iftar meals at Masjid an-Nabawi during the blessed month of Ramadan.

According to Arab media reports, this portal will facilitate the registration of those who seek the honor of serving iftar to fasting individuals.

Only companies approved by the authority will be granted permits for iftar distribution, and a list of these authorized entities will be publicly available.

The General Authority emphasized that the registration system aims to ensure that iftar distribution is carried out in an organized and dignified manner. The collected data will help improve logistical arrangements, prevent overcrowding, and minimize food waste.

It is worth noting that last month, the authority launched a similar portal for iftar distribution in Makkah. Through this system, individuals and organizations were allowed to select from ten designated service sites for meal distribution.

Additionally, the authority has issued a reminder to ensure that iftar meals are suitable for people with chronic illnesses, including diabetes, by incorporating low-calorie food options.

This initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance the management and efficiency of Ramadan services at the holy sites, ensuring a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for worshippers.
