Casey Deidrick, an actor best known for his role as Chad DiMera on 'Days of Our Lives', was arrested in Tennessee over the weekend on charges of domestic assault and interference with an emergency call.
According to TMZ, Deidrick was taken into custody on Sunday following an incident at his Nashville home. He was later released after posting a $2,500 bond.
According to the arrest warrant, Deidrick got into a heated argument with his girlfriend after suspecting she was recording him on her phone. He allegedly grabbed her phone, which led to a confrontation. Deidrick claimed his girlfriend wrapped her hands around his neck, but officers found no evidence to support this.
His girlfriend, however, told authorities that the argument escalated when Deidrick put her in a bear hug and took her phone. She stated she was fearful for her safety and demanded her phone back to call 911. After promising to move out that day, she said Deidrick returned her phone.
In addition to 'Days of Our Lives', Deidrick has appeared in several TV shows, including 'Glee', 'Revolution', 'In The Dark', 'Teen Wolf', and 'Eye Candy'.
