Governor hails Iran's offer to reduce visa fee

LAHORE:

The Governor General of Iran's Khorasan Razavi Province, Gholam Hossein Mozaffari, met Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan here on Saturday and discussed matters pertaining to promotion of trade between both countries.

The Punjab governor welcomed an assurance of Governor General Mozaffari for reducing the visa fee for Pakistani visitors.

Discussion was also held on promoting mining and petroleum sectors and exchange of delegations of businesswomen.

The Punjab governor said relations between Pakistan and Iran would reach a new height and exchange of trade delegations would be promoted.

He said matters pertaining to celebrating a cultural week of Lahore in Mashhad and Mashhad in Lahore would be finalised soon.

Governor General Gholam Hossein Mozaffari said exhibitions would be organised to promote ties between Punjab and Khorasan Razavi.
