Oil tanker explodes during welding

KARACHI:

A powerful explosion occurred in an oil tanker near Baldia Town, spreading fear and panic in the area. Although, no casualties were reported. The blast caused a fire to break out in the tanker. Police, rescue officials, and firefighters rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the incident. The explosion also disrupted traffic flow on Hub River Road.

Initial reports suggest, the blast occurred due to gas leakage during welding work on the tanker, which was being used to transport tar.
