The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Saturday announced the schedule for the upcoming tri-nation ODI series, featuring Pakistan, New Zealand, and South Africa.
The series will be played on a single-league basis from February 8 to 14, with the first two matches set to be held at Lahore's iconic Gaddafi Stadium and the final league match along with the final scheduled to take place at Karachi's National Stadium.
The series will begin on Saturday, February 8, with Pakistan facing off against New Zealand in the opening match.
The first ball is set to be bowled at 2 PM (PST) at Gaddafi Stadium.
On Monday, February 10, New Zealand will take on South Africa in a day match, starting at 9 AM.
The action will then shift to Karachi, where Pakistan will play South Africa in a day/night match on February 12 at the National Stadium, with the first ball to be bowled at 2 PM. The series will culminate with the final on Friday, February 14, at the National Stadium, also starting at 2 PM.
In preparation for the series, both Pakistan and New Zealand will train at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday, February 6, under lights, while South Africa's first outing at the venue will take place on the morning of Sunday, February 9.
In a statement, the PCB highlighted that the series would provide the three participating teams with an excellent opportunity to fine-tune their preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Additionally, the PCB stated that this event would serve as a perfect platform to showcase the newly redesigned and redeveloped venues to a global audience through world-class broadcast coverage.
At Gaddafi Stadium, significant upgrades have been made, including an increased spectator capacity with new chairs installed throughout the venue.
The installation of 480 state-of-the-art LED lights has improved broadcast LUX levels, ensuring a superior viewing experience for fans worldwide.
Furthermore, two giant digital replay screens - measuring 80 feet x 30 feet and 22 feet x 35 feet - have been added to enhance the spectator experience.
A brand-new hospitality enclosure for players and officials is also nearing completion, making the venue fully operational for the series.
At the National Stadium, the upgrades include a new hospitality enclosure for players and officials at the University End, along with the installation of 350 LED lights to improve broadcast coverage.
Two digital replay screens have been added, and 5,000 new chairs have been installed to enhance the comfort of spectators.
