DJ Akademiks, a well-known internet personality and podcaster, is under intense scrutiny after making inappropriate and sexually suggestive comments toward a 15-year-old Twitch streamer during a livestream on January 23.
The incident, which was captured on video and shared across social media, has sparked outrage online, with many demanding accountability for the controversial comments.
The first video, which surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), shows an unnamed individual speaking to NourGxd, the 15-year-old streamer, during a conversation on Discord. The individual made an unsettling remark, asking, “Yo, Nour, what's your address? I'm going to send some strippers over there.” When NourGxd responded that he was 15 and uncomfortable with the suggestion, the person appeared to dismiss his concerns, saying “So?” This interaction raised alarms about the nature of the conversation and the apparent disregard for the minor's discomfort.
Another clip from the same day featured DJ Akademiks engaging with NourGxd during a Fortnite livestream. In the 30-second video, Akademiks made a series of sexually explicit comments. At one point, he asked, "Yo, if Max said he wanted to try f*cking a dude, will you let him f*ck you?" Despite NourGxd clearly stating that he was not gay and was uncomfortable with the conversation, Akademiks continued to push the subject, further unsettling the teen.

The videos quickly gained traction on social media, with many condemning Akademiks for his inappropriate behavior. FaZe Clan member Plaqueboymax was one of the first to publicly call out the media personality, stating that he did not want to react to the videos directly but found the situation “nasty.”

Following the release of the videos, YouTuber Scru Face Jean revealed that he had spoken with NourGxd about the incident but would not be sharing the interview at this time. NourGxd spoke out about his experience, calling the remarks “truly uncomfortable” and “disgusting.”

Scru explained that his team was in the process of coordinating with the teen’s guardian, and the involvement of law enforcement could prevent the interview from being released.
So it’s lookin like I might not be able to drop this interview, I wanted to get his story out there but it has come to my attention that his guardians (and possibly law enforcement) need to be apart of this. I’m in the process of trying to talk to the guardian but if you don’t… https://t.co/ieGROmdOzw
