Police claimed to have arrested the ringleader of a robbery gang.
Tauqeer Ahmed filed a complaint at the Saddar Police Station, detailing a robbery. Ahmed, along with his family and brother Tahir Mehmood, was returning home from the airport around 4.30am. When their vehicle was near Pathar Garh Katti Pahari, they heard a loud noise coming from the car.
Upon stopping and stepping out to inspect the issue, they were suddenly attacked by three armed men. The assailants physically assaulted them and stole Rs52,000 in cash and gold jewellery from Ahmed's sister before fleeing the scene. The police registered a case.
