Modern daycare opens at Capital Hospital

ISLAMABAD:

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman formally inaugurated a state-of-the-art day care and Early Childhood Development Centre (ECDC) for children up to three years of age at Capital Hospital Islamabad.

This daycare centre has been established with the support of UNICEF. It is equipped with a live monitoring system, enabling parents to watch their children in real-time. This cutting-edge facility has been introduced at a childcare centre in Pakistan for the first time.

The Chairman also inaugurated the newly established Pediatric Emergency Department at the hospital. The inauguration was attended by the CDA Member Administration, Executive Director of Capital Hospital, representatives of UNICEF and senior officials of the authority. The Chairman stated that this initiative not only enhances parental satisfaction but also sets a new standard for childcare services in the country.
