Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari delivered a scathing response to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur's remarks, stating, "We are tired of shaming you. You’re a wild animal, and a wild animal you shall remain."
Reacting to the CM’s comments about Maryam Nawaz, Bukhari remarked, "You hold the office of a province’s chief executive—try speaking like a civilized person for once. Instead, you ramble senselessly, just like your ill-mannered leader."
She went on to criticise his remarks further, saying, "Perhaps the women in your family attend events without makeup or jewelry, and I pity them for enduring a shameless and unruly man like you."
Turning her attention to Gandapur’s leadership, she declared, "Ali Amin is a stain on the honour of Pashtuns. We’re often told Pashtuns are a proud people who respect their women, yet Ali Amin is an embarrassing exception, even for Pashtun women."
The Punjab information minister issued a stern warning, "Those who can’t compete with Maryam Nawaz’s performance should keep her name out of their vile language. If you dare use derogatory words about her again, we won’t hesitate to silence you."
