A woman was allegedly subjected to sexual assault by two men, while another woman foiled a similar attempt by raising an alarm.

According to the police, a woman resident of Dhadhiwala filed a complaint with the Women's Police Station stating that then suspect, Shahbaz Aslam, was an acquaintance of her husband. On January 10, the suspect called her, claiming that a relative of her was admitted to the Civil Hospital and needed her assistance. When she arrived at the Chenab Chowk, the accused, accompanied by an unknown driver, took her to an unknown house in Chak No. 204, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her at gunpoint.

The Women's Police Station staff registered a case under Section 376 of the Pakistan Penal Code and launched an investigation along with efforts to arrest the suspect.

In another incident, a woman was allegedly subjected to a similar attempt by two men, including Ali Ahsan, who entered her house in Satoiwala. The police registered a case under Sections 376 and 511 of the PPC and initiated an investigation.
