The outburst began when Cardi B shared details of her creative process with fans, emphasizing that she writes all of her aggressive bars. "Why do you think my raps be so f*cking witty?" she asked. "That's me. The way I be rapping, the way I be writing. I talk mad sh*t for like two hours, record what I f*cking say." She explained that she then selects the best lines for her songs. While Cardi B acknowledged that she collaborates with songwriter Pardi Fontaine on more introspective tracks, she made it clear that her energetic and brash raps are all her own.

Cardi B’s frustration with BIA seemed to stem from a past comment where BIA had questioned her songwriting. In her rant, Cardi B harshly rebuked BIA, saying, "B*tch who the f*ck even are you?" She mocked BIA for trying to challenge her skills, claiming that BIA couldn’t “go toe to toe” with her and had no meaningful response.

While Cardi B’s admission of working with a collaborator on certain songs could be seen as contradictory, she justified it by noting her difficulty with writing love songs. She pointed to tracks like 'Be Careful' as examples where she sought help, stressing that this distinction sets her apart from BIA.
