Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin hold hands and visit temple in India amid breakup rumours

The couple was spotted on the streets and temples of Mumbai ahead of Coldplay's concert in the city.

Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson put an end to the speculation about their relationship status by stepping out holding hands in Mumbai ahead of Coldplay's concert

On Friday, the pair was spotted strolling the streets of Mumbai hand-in-hand. The Coldplay frontman is visiting India as a stop on their Music of the Spheres World Tour. While PEOPLE acquired exclusive photos of the couple out and about in casual clothes, the two were also spotted on a visit to pay respects at the iconic Shri Babulnath Temple.

While out and about, Chris was seen donning black pants, white sneakers, and a black graphic baseball cap. Dakota, meanwhile matched his style in a black dress paired with a hat, and a gray sweater tied around her waist. The pair was seen waving to fans as they passed.

On the temple visit, Dakota was spotted in a printed cotton suit with a scarf draped over her head. Chris was seen in a pastel blue kurta and a Rukrasha mala. In video footage, the Fifty Shades alum can be seen leaning in to whisper a prayer into the ear of a deity's sculpture.

Chris and Dakota got together after the former's separation from ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he has two children, Apple and Moses. Later, news about a split between Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin began doing the rounds in early 2024.

Amid this speculation over the summer, a rep for Johnson shut it down, telling PEOPLE that the pair were “happily together" which now appears to be confirmed by the couple themselves.
